Apex Intelli-X IX48

The APEX Intelli-X IX48 is a 4 input, 8 output digital cross-over with 24 bits A/D and D/A converters. It can be connected to the APEX-buss together with several other Intelli-X’s and Intelli-Q eq’s, and controlled via the same GUI (graphic user interface).

EACH INPUT SECTION HAS THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS:

• 24 bit A/D converter or AES/EBU input with sample rate conversion
• 10 segment LED VU-meter on the front panel -30 band graphic EQ on IS0 frequencies from 20 Hz ...20kHz, each with a gain range of +/-16dB and variable Q-delay with a maximum of 500 msec
• Parametric EQ:
  • 8 sections each channel
  • frequency range 20Hz ...20kHz
  • Q/BW variable from 0,5 ...32 gain variable from 4dB...+ I5dB
• Shelving EQ:
  • gain range: +15dB ...-40dB
  • frequency range: 20Hz-20kHz
• A matrix makes it possible to route each input channel to one or more output channels.

EACH OUTPUT CHANNEL HAS THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS:

• 24 bit D/A converters
• High pass & low pass filter: Butterworth 1st order till 8th order (6dB till 48dB/octave)
• Linkwitz-Riley filter 12, 24, 48dB/oct
• Bessel filter 1st order till 8th order
• Parametric EQ:
  • 8 sections each channel
  • frequency range 20Hz ...20kHz
  • Q variable from 0,5 ...32
  • gain variable form -40dB...+15dB
• delay with a maximum of 500 msec
• soft + hard limiter
• phase reversal
• 10 segment LED VU-meter on the front panel
